Let's talk about the room you're in.

Tell us where you are and what the room has to do. Every enquiry is read by Mira, and answered in two days.

Studio
Ravnsborggade 122200 Copenhagen N
Hours
Mon–Thu 9–17Fri 9–14

Every project starts with a conversation and a plan. Tell us where you are — a flat to rethink, a house half-drawn, or a room that has simply never worked — and we will say honestly whether we are the right studio for it.

Start a project

Fill this in with as much or as little as you have. A plan, a listing, a photo of the room taken on your phone — all of it helps.

  1. We read it and reply within two working days.
  2. A first visit, about an hour, no charge — we look at the space together.
  3. A fixed fee and a written scope, agreed before anything is drawn.

Come by the studio

Second floor of the old brush factory on Ravnsborggade — through the courtyard and up the stairs on the left. Metro to Nørrebros Runddel is six minutes on foot. Street parking is metered until 19:00, and there is always room for bikes in the yard.

Before you write

How much detail do you need up front?
Very little. A rough plan, an address, or a few phone photos is enough to tell us whether the room is interesting and whether we are free. Everything else — surveys, drawings, budgets — we build together after the first visit.
Do you take on single rooms?
Often, and it is a good way to start. A kitchen, a bathroom or one run of built-in storage is a real project on its own — measured, drawn and detailed the same way — rather than a trimmed-down version of a whole-home commission.
We are outside Copenhagen — is that a problem?
No. We work anywhere in Denmark, and have built in southern Sweden and northern Germany. Beyond about two hours from the studio we add travel to the fee and visit site less often but for longer, which changes the rhythm of a project more than the price of it.
Can you keep working with our builder?
Gladly, if they will work from our drawings and quote against them. We will meet them before anything is agreed. Where we have no history with a contractor we usually ask for one comparison quote — not to undercut them, but so everyone can see what the drawings actually cost to build.
How soon could you start?
We hold four projects at a time, so it depends on where the others are. Drawing usually begins [4–8] weeks after we agree a scope, and we will tell you the real date at the first visit rather than the one you want to hear.
